When you fill up your car with gas, that’s like filling up your belly. It’s the fuel that makes everything work. If the meal you eat is too big, or you wait to long, then you’ll feel sluggish and not hungry by your next meal time. That’s not good.

Then it comes down to what you should eat. Lean proteins, low fat foods, fresh vegetables are a good start. Basically, anything you can find on the perimeter of the grocery store, besides the bakery and hot counter will be what your body needs in order to lose weight.

The closer you get to the center of the grocery store, then the more processed and manufactured food you are going to find. Most of those foods have corn syrup in them. Studies have been done and they seem to conclude the obesity in America is in direct correlation with the amount of corn syrup that is consumed. It is so cheap to manufacture that even ketchup companies use it as their main sweetener. The number one thing you can do is avoid those foods that contain high fructose corn syrup.
